TWHBEA headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion of the breed. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed, and to help assure its general welfare.
The NPWHA was formed in 1979 to promote the registration, breeding, exhibiting, welfare, and protection of the Plantation Walking Horse in California. It is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in California, and was the first to hold a pleasure horse futurity.
SSHBEA is a non-profit, member-owned corporation formed in 1985 to preserve the pedigree of and to promote the Spotted Saddle Horse. To this end, SSHBEA maintains a breed registry and facilitates the public exhibition of this beautiful and versatile horse.
FOSH is an organization that is incorporated as a public benefit humane and education organization. Its purpose is to provide information to the public about the humane care, treatment and training of gaited horses, with a special emphasis on the Tennessee Walking Horse, and to promote the exhibition of the flat shod and barefoot Walking Horse at competitions designed to showcase the natural gaited pleasure walking horse.
RCHA was founded in 1969 as a membership based group of equestrians and horse lovers in the Temecula Valley. We are dedicated to preserving and enjoying trails in our area.

The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve is located at the southern end of the Santa Ana Mountains in southwest Riverside County, near the city of Murrieta offering beautiful equestrian trails open to the public.
